I still remember
Forgetting it is the only thing that seems to be impossible,
all is done and they are gone; but somehow I relive the memory,
the corridors are empty, being swept clean, the staff looking forward to a new beginning
But I still remember...
The unfortunate are long forgotten, you've moved on with your life,
we've come to terms with our losses, and blessed are those who servived.
But I still remember...
The screams and shouts & the fire burning bright,
the agony of not knowing if it'd end,
the men and women lying still soaked in blood,
for them it was the end, My wife and children gone, the cries muffled,
And I still remember
The look of evil on their faces,
no guilt or remorse for thing they'd done the lack of compassion.. the burning fire.
I will always remember
I've walked down this corridor
maybe a million times since...
my mind plays tricks on me
eveytime since...
I look at every nook and crany
maybe a million times since...
but my mind relives the memory
eveytime ...
I walk past each room
talking to someone else
my mind signals me to
look at the door that saw the blood shed...
I've walked through the passage
maybe a million times since...
But I still remember
this is jus somethin I ended up writin thinkin bout this day last yr ... One man who deserves a mention here is the fine gentleman Mr. Kang ( GM Taj )
